MICHAEL K. NOVELL
Chairperson / Trustee
Mike has served as Country Director for Save the Children US’ Philippines program from 1982 to 1988, and again from 1996 to 2004.
He has four decades of leadership experience in Save the Children – in the country, regional, and global levels.
Mike has an established track record of managing large and complex field operations, and overseeing country programs both in the development and humanitarian settings.
Currently, he is the Lead Advisor of the Chief Operating Officer of SC US.
KRISTEN S. QUINTOS
Vice-chairperson /Trustee
Chicky is a proven leader with extensive experience in banking and finance. Throughout her career, she has been into different types of banking, such as investment banking, corporate banking, developmental finance, and private banking.
She is the current Executive Director of UBS AG, Singapore. She also served as CEO and President of Maybank ATR Kim Eng from 2016 to 2019. She was the Managing Director of Bank of Singapore Limited – Philippine Representative Office, Managing Director of ING Bank, N.V. Manila Branch, Vice President for Corporate Finance and Corporate Governance of Alternergy Partners PTE. LTD, and various other banks and financial companies.
Chicky is also engaged with different non-profit organizations. She is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Teach for the Philippines, and a member of the Teach for All Network. She is the Board President and Member of the Board of Trustees of the World Wide Fund (WWF) Philippines.
JOSE VICTOR ZALAMEA
Trustee/Corporate Treasurer
Jovi is the Executive Director and senior banker at Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division with primary responsibility for key markets within South East Asia. He joined the firm in 1999 in New York. In 2005, he was named one of the firm’s Inaugural Public Fellows for Community Service.
Jovi received his MBA from Kellogg School at Northwestern University and his BA in Economics and Math from the University of the Philippines, where he finished Magna Cum Laude.
XAVIER JOSE ABOITIZ
Trustee
Txabi has been a Board Advisor of Aboitiz Company, Inc. Prior to his retirement, he was Senior Vice President for Human Resources for the Aboitiz Group of Companies overseeing compliance of business units, the HR Center of Excellence services, and synergy opportunities, among others. He brings a vast experience in leadership from holding various top management and board positions in major companies.
Txabi holds a degree in Business Administration – Finance from the Gonzaga University in the USA. He is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization/World’s Presidents Organization and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
ALISTAIR BROWN
Trustee
Al is the Chief Financial Officer at Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. He was the former Chief Finance Officer of Save the Children Australia.
Al also held a variety of finance roles within the AXA group for 17 years. He was then the Regional Chief Financial Officer for Asia where he oversaw some 500 finance staff in eight countries through a period of significant growth and change. Prior to this, he held roles in Corporate Finance in Australia, as Financial Controller in Japan and in Group Finance in Paris, among others. He spent the first ten years of his career in Chartered Accounting at Deloitte.
Al has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia.
STEPHANIE LEE SY
Trustee
Stef is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Thinking Machines Data Science, Inc., an international data science consultancy which builds data and AI platforms to help organizations make better decisions with their data with operations in the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. She was also a partner of Silicon Valley Insight which builds custom data scrapers, web-based data viz dashboards, and other data science products.
Stef was an awardee of the Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 – Enterprise Technology Category in 2018, and of Asia Society Asia 21 Young Leaders and TOWNS Philippines in 2019.
Stef holds a degree of Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
JUNE CHERYL CABAL-REVILLA
Trustee
Chaye is the incumbent Chief Finance Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer of the Metro Pacific Investments Corporation.
She previously held key positions in PLDT Group, Smart Communications, Inc., and was Chief Finance Officer/ Treasurer of PLDT-Smart Foundation.
Chaye earned multiple distinctions due to her outstanding financial management skills such as:
CFO of the Year, Asia’s CFO Excellence Awards (Singapore, 2019); CFO of the Year, Philippine Leadership Awards (Philippines, 2019); CFO of the Year Award – Excellence in Financial Planning and Analysis (Singapore, 2018); CFO of the Year, Excellence in Women Leadership (Malaysia, 2018); CFO of the Year, Golden Globe Tiger Award for Women Leadership (Malaysia, 2018); CFO of the Year Excellence Award (Philippines, 2014).
She holds a degree of BS in Accountancy from De La Salle University and a Master of Business Management from Asian Institute of Management. She attended the Stanford Executive Program of Stanford Graduate School of Business.
