As part of its 37th anniversary celebrations, Save the Children Philippines thanks corporate partners for supporting their mission to uplift the lives of Filipino children.

What makes a strong and lasting partnership?

Shared values and goals.

Save the Children Philippines has been working with various organizations and companies coming from different sectors for several years now.

These partnerships continue to thrive because of one main reason: Our shared mission to protect and uplift the lives of Filipino children.

As part of its 37th anniversary celebrations, Save the Children Philippines thanked and recognized their corporate partners through “Partners’ Day” held on April 25, 2018 at the Asian Institute of Management.

With its theme “Stronger Together for Children,” Save the Children Philippines hopes to encourage even more corporations to contribute to the future of Filipino children.

Such corporate partnerships help organizations like Save the Children to directly reach hundreds of thousands of children across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

In 2017 alone, Save the Children Philippines has reached over 573,000 Filipino children. In 2018, they aim to reach more of the country’s most vulnerable children.

They provide support for education, health and nutrition, hygiene, water and sanitation, child rights governance, emergencies, and child protection.

In 2017, more than 80 companies supported Save the Children Philippines’ programs, campaigns, and appeals.
Among those recognized for their grant-funding support were the Ikea Foundation, Prudence Foundation, GT Foundation, Accenture, Western Union, and Johnson & Johnson’s.

Other companies were also recognized for raising funds for Save the Children and for supporting their Marawi Crisis emergency appeal and #LahatSanta Christmas campaign. Gift-in-kind donors and media partners were also given recognition.

During the event, Save the Children Philippines also introduced their newly-appointed Filipino CEO, Atty. Alberto Muyot, who previously served as a Department of Education Undersecretary and a University of the Philippines Law Professor. This transition to an all-Filipino leadership is part of their journey in becoming an Associate Member of Save the Children.

Thank you for making a difference in children’s lives. Together, let’s continue to save the children!
